"Hope for Haiti" Benefit Night

Thursday, March 29th, 2012 marked the first ever Hope for Haiti Benefit which was organized and put on by the "Project Haiti" volunteers. The night included a shoe drive, silent auction, food and drinks, dancing, and a presentation about Project Haiti with our special guest, Rachel Marescot, who shared with us her Haiti experience. We raised approximately $3,000 in total and over 50 pairs of shoes were donated, helping us surpass our goal of raising $5,000 in order to have Brooks match us $5,000!!! Thanks so much for everyone's support of the project. Every member of Project Haiti will now have their trip paid for, as well as money left over to purchase supplies to bring with us to Haiti. Here are some pictures from the benefit. Thanks again!!!!

Our awesome DJ, Marlon!
The donation team put together an amazing rehab kit! This kit is made up of most all of the materials June requested for the clinic in Les Cayes. A donation of $160 will buy a kit for the volunteers to bring with them to Haiti.
